The refreshing, effervescent combination of bourbon, lime and ginger beer can quench even the biggest thirsts. For the best results, try using a high-quality, spicy ginger beer.

Ingredients (1 serving)
2 oz. vomFASS Two Georges High Corn Bourbon
3 oz. ginger beer
½ oz. fresh lime juice
½ oz. mint simple syrup*
Fresh lime wheel or wedge

MINT SIMPLE SYRUP*
1 cup water
½ cup sugar
½ cup fresh mint leaves
Directions
Add the bourbon, lime juice and mint syrup to a julep cup or a highball glass.
Fill the cup or glass with ice and top with ginger beer.
Garnish with lime.
*Mint Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the water and sugar just to a boil, whisking to dissolve the sugar. Add the mint leaves.
Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook, without stirring, until the syrup is slightly reduced and syrupy, about 10 minutes.
Let stand to cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
Discard the mint leaves. You can use the syrup immediately, or let it cool to room temperature.
Store in a covered glass jar in the refrigerator for up to one month.
