Ridiculously Easy Raspberry Sauce
Posted by Alayne Gardner-Carimi on
It's no strain to make this raspberry sauce. The bright raspberry notes have been perfectly preserved without any of the raspberry seeds! Equally fabulous over savory or sweet plates. Drizzle on roasted meats or vegetables to add another dimension to your dishes. Delicious with chocolate pot de crème, rich cheese cake, or just elevate your ice cream.
Ingredients (makes 1 cup)
½ cup sugar or honey
3 Tbsp water or orange juice
½ cup vomFASS Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp vomFASS Don Carlos Extra Virgin Olive Oil or butter
Directions
Combine sugar and water (or orange juice) in a 1 cup (or larger) microwave-safe cup or bowl. Stir to combine.
The mixture will be very thick.
Cook in the microwave on high power for two minutes. Stir for 5-10 seconds to ensure that the sugar crystals are dissolved.
Combine vomFASS Raspberry Balsamic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or butter) and hot syrup.
Blend with whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Equally fabulous over savory or sweet plates.
Store in the refrigerator for 5-7 days or in the freezer for 2-3 months.
