Chocolate Orange Truffle Vinaigrette Salad

Is it a dessert or a salad? The tropical fruit notes mixed with chocolatey base notes of the Cacao Fruit Balsamic intermingle with the citrus of our Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil to dress this tender salad playfully, and to keep your tastebuds guessing
Ingredients (2 large servings)
VINAIGRETTE
3 Tbsp vomFASS Cacao Fruit Balsamic
6 Tbsp vomFASS Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp finely chopped shallot
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp white pepper
1 tsp raw cacao nibs
3 Tbsp vomFASS Cacao Fruit Balsamic
6 Tbsp vomFASS Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp finely chopped shallot

1 tsp raw cacao nibs
SALAD
8 oz butter lettuce leaves
1 avocado, pitted, peeled and sliced
1 orange, peeled and sliced
2 tsp raw cacao nibs
Directions
To a small jar, add vomFASS Cacao Fruit Balsamic, seasonings and nibs. Seal with lid and shake.
Add vomFASS Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Reseal with lid and shake vigorously.Wash and tear butter lettuce.
In salad bowls, place butter lettuce, avocado pieces and orange slices.
Top with vinaigrette.
Sprinkle with cacao nibs.
Enjoy!
