Bourbon BBQ Sauce

This sauce is packed with flavor and nothing artificial!

Ingredients (about 3 cups)
1 Tbsp vomFASS Garlic Herb Oil
1 cup onion
3 cloves of garlic
¾ cup vomFASS Northern Plains Bourbon
2 Tbsp vomFASS Apple Balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp mustard
¼ tsp cayenne
⅓ cup brown sugar
2 cups ketchup
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions
Sauté the onion in olive oil for 1 to 2 minutes, until fragrant.
Add garlic and sauté for another 1 to 2 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a low boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 – 10 minutes.
Add a splash of Northern Plains Bourbon for a stronger flavor.
Use a hand blender to mix to a fine sauce, adding water as needed to reach desired consistency.
