Bourbon Old Fashioned

Using different bourbon and different proofs of bourbon will change the flavor of this cocktail.

Ingredients (1 serving)
1¼ oz vomFASS Northern Plains Bourbon
1-2 Luxardo cherries
2 bar spoons simple syrup
3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1 orange peel

Directions
In an Old Fashioned glass, add 1 large ice cube and a Luxardo cherry. Add two bar spoons of simple syrup, three dashes of bitters and muddle. Add ice and vomFASS Northern Plains Bourbon to the glass. Then take an orange peel and twist it in the glass and rub the peel around the rim of the glass. Stir gently until the level of the ice and liquid equalize and the glass is chilled.
