Garlicky Roasted Beans

These roasted green beans with toasted almonds will be your new favorite side dish. It's a perfect for weeknight dinners or freeze them for later, if you prefer.

Ingredients
1-pound fresh green beans, trimmed
2 Tbs vomFASS Garlic Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup slivered almonds (optional)
2 tsp vomFASS Palomino Riserva Vinegar or lemon juice

Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Spread green beans in a single layer on baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil. Roll the green beans in the olive oil so each one is nicely coated. Liberally salt and pepper. Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven. Flip green beans.
Sprinkle slivered almonds, if using. Drizzle with sherry vinegar for a tart nutty notes or lemon juice for a bright note.
Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes. (Keep an eye on the almond slivers. You want them browned but not blackened. 5 minutes is the sweet spot for my convection oven.)
